January 12, 2002 (WASHINGTON, DC) — “I wish to personally invite every individual and family committed to restoring a Culture of Life to our conference at the Santa Clara Marriott,” said Steve Mosher, president of Population Research Institute (PRI).
PRI’s Global Family Life Conference takes place this spring, April 3 – April 7.

Conference Host, Steve Mosher, and pro-life champion, Fr. Paul Marx, OSB, open the conference with a procession at Our Lady of Peace Church, a beacon of faith in the heart of Silicon Valley and home of the 32-foot statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

More than 40 of our nations top pro-life leaders will be participating in this four-day conference, filled with seminars, luncheons and special events at the Santa Clara Marriott.

Speakers include: Educator and Foundress of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, Mother M. Assumpta Long; homeschooling pioneer Laura Berquist; sidewalk apostle Msgr. Philip Reilly; Ignatius Press Founder Fr. Joseph Fessio; law professor Charles Rice; UN Watchdog Austin Ruse; Humanae Vitae authority Dr. Janet Smith; Washington insiders Michael Schwartz and Connie Marshner, and Catholic philosopher Dr. Alice von Hildebrand.

Featured is a special day for medical professionals, seminars on lobbying and elections, and a two-day youth conference for teens. “Pope John Paul II calls young people ‘the hope for the future’,” Mosher pointed out. “And so we have an event just for them, designed to help young people better serve their family, community and country.”

The first day of the youth conference will focus on spiritual growth, with a retreat by Fr. Richard Voigt, ending with an evening presentation by RADIX, a Catholic musical and dramatic ministry, on “The Dreams of John Bosco.” The second day begins with Mass then offers expert speakers on chastity, special pro-life initiatives, the UN, music by RADIX, and more.

“If you want to learn more about rebuilding reverence for Life and Family in our communities and towns, across our nation and throughout the world, and increasing your families holiness and happiness, come to Santa Clara in the springtime!”
