Communist China

Commanded to Celebrate the CCP: Catholics in China were compelled by the CCP to celebrate the recent 100th anniversary of the party. In contrast, these same individuals have not been allowed to take the pilgrimage to Our Lady of Sheshan in Shanghai, the national sanctuary for Our Lady in China. Read Here

“The persecution of Catholics in China is intensifying,” says PRI President Steven Mosher, “with the Communist Party making every effort to co-opt and control all religious activity, both to prevent the young from being evangelized, and also to turn the churches themselves into centers for Communist indoctrination.”

UN Misdeeds

Paid to Promote Politics: Leftist billionaires have paid millions of dollars into the UN human rights system to further their political agenda. This turns their “progressive political goals into human rights obligations.” Read Here

“Many so-called ‘experts’ are simply bought and paid for PR flacks,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “From human rights to immigration to vaccines, they will sell their ‘expertise’ to the highest bidder. Pay no attention to them.”

Science Gone Mad

Commissioner Calls Out Child Abuse: Commissioner Jaime Masters of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services determined gender reassignment surgery in minors constitutes child abuse. This he shared with the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, along with the consequences of allowing such actions to be performed. Read Here

Pro-Life Around the World

Contraceptive’s Effects Disproved: A recently released study has examined the long term effects of contraceptives on some of the world’s poorest women. Despite promises made over the years by the providers of these contraceptives, this study showed that contraceptives did not improve economic prospects and negatively affected women’s health. Read Here

“We’ve been dumping contraceptives on poor women in poor countries for decades, and the end result is that women are no better off,” says PRI President Mosher. “In fact, the study showed that a large family gives women status and support, and that women with few or no children were worse off.”

Fired Up Pro-Lifers: The Pro-Life movement in Germany has started to become more vocal, after decades of quiet support. Groups, such as “Right to Life for All”, have begun to use the American Pro-Life movement as their template. Read Here

Euthanasia Stopped: The Dublin Parliament’s Committee on Justice have rejected a bill that would have allowed assisted suicide and euthanasia. Ireland has moved in a negative direction in many areas, including abortion and marriage, making this an important victory. Read Here

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Biden at Behest: Republican lawmakers exposed that the Biden administration has broken the law to support the abortion lobby. According to The Daily Signal, members “violated federal law when they told the Justice Department to drop a lawsuit against a hospital that forced a nurse to assist an elective abortion.” Read Here

Support for Hyde: Pro-Life groups have praised the U.S. Senate for “expressing support for the preservation of bans on taxpayer funding of abortion in the federal government’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year.” This is a major step towards preserving the Hyde Amendment. Read Here

Pro-Life Protections Blocked: A federal judge blocked multiple Pro-Life Indiana Laws. These would have protected women from “unsupervised, drug-induced abortions” as well as required abortionists to provide women with information on unborn life. Read Here

Good News

Olympian Saves the Day: Polish Olympian Maria Andrejczyk put her silver medal up for auction to help pay for a baby’s heart surgery. Polish convenience store chain Zabka Polska, the highest bidder at $125,000, turned the tables and allowed Andrejczyk to keep her medal. Read Here
