Deepening Depopulation

Communism in Cuba Kills: This past year, Cuba had the largest population decrease in sixty years. It was a recipe for demographic disaster, with the lowest number of births and highest number of deaths ever recorded. COVID-19 was blamed again, and while it may have contributed, the real culprit is the communism that poisons the country.

“Communism kills in more ways than one,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “It kills by rampant abortion, of course.  That was part of the diabolical Communist program from the first days of the Soviet Union.  But it also kills by murdering the hope that people cherish in their hearts for a better future for themselves and their children.  Who wants to bring children into a dystopian dictatorship?  The Cuban people obviously don’t.”

Communist China

Hypocritical Accusations: Members of the CCP leadership are masters of pointing fingers at others to distract from their own heinous deeds. In light of Roe v. Wade’s overturn, the United States has become their latest target for hypocritical criticism. A CCP spokesmen condemned the U.S. for “gender-based discrimination,” blatantly ignoring decades of population control in China, featuring the forced abortions, which disproportionately eliminated baby girls, and sterilizations of countless women.

Motorcycle Preaching: Xi Jinping has initiated new propaganda tactics, spreading party ideology throughout rural areas of China. But as these mobile efforts increase and his messages promoting human rights become more aggressive, minorities in China continue to suffer. The situation for Tibetans becomes increasingly worse, though little to no attention is given to their rapidly changing circumstances.

“President Reagan famously said with regard to negotiating with the former Soviet Union that his policy was to ‘trust but verify.’ ” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “Our policy with regard to the serial liars that run the Chinese Communist Party should be to ‘distrust and verify.’ CCP dictator Xi Jinping’s claims to be promoting ‘dignity and rights for all’ is the exact opposite of the truth. The Communists have turned the ancient Tibetan homeland into a living hell for Tibetans.”

Loyalty Detector Test: Chinese researchers have developed a new Orwellian device for the CCP. Using a combination of facial scans and a polygraph, the new tech is supposedly able to test the loyalty of ruling party members. The researchers touted their accomplishment as “artificial intelligence empowering party-building” on social media, though the post was later erased.

UN Misdeeds

UN Lashes Out: UN bureaucrats and human rights “experts” are lashing out against the United States for the Supreme Court’s decision on Roe v. Wade. Multiple statements denouncing the decision were released from UN bodies, despite there being no global human rights treaty or agreement that includes abortion as a fundamental human right.

Science Gone Mad

The Turnaway Study: A decade-old study that supports abortion as the best option for women in crisis pregnancies has been debunked. Professor Priscilla Coleman followed the paper trail to discover biased motivations and funding, as well as skewed research groups and methods that led to this pro-death conclusion.

Pro-Life Around the World

No Right to Abortion: The President of the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the EU has reaffirmed the Catholic Church’s position that there is no right to abortion. This announcement came as a response to the EU Parliament’s plans to once again publicly support Roe v. Wade, despite the recent overturn.

Ideological Extortion: Guatemala President Alejandro Giammattei called out the Inter-American Human Rights Commission for pushing progressive ideas and threats on his country. He accused the organization of using extortion to promote abortion and transgender ideology.

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Half for Heartbeat: Harvard released a comprehensive poll from June 2022 on current American issues, including abortion. The data revealed that almost half of Americans support banning the practice past six weeks gestation, the point at which a fetal heartbeat is detectable.

Abortion Ads Banned: Meta, the new face of Facebook and Instagram, is flagging and banning posts advertising the abortion pill. With posts pushing these dangerous drugs skyrocketing in the aftermath of Roe’s overturn, this neutral ban could protect both women and babies.

Good News

Baby Saving Bans: Two more states gained wins for the pro-life movement this past week. Florida’s fifteen-week ban was allowed to pass, and Mississippi now has a near-total ban. In both states, thousands of unborn lives will be saved.

Quote of the Week

Nothing surpasses the greatness or dignity of a human person. Human life is not just an idea or an abstraction; human life is the concrete reality of a being that lives, that acts, that grows and develops; human life is the concrete reality of a being that is capable of love, and of service to humanity.”

~ Pope Saint John Paul II, source
