Communist China

Red Universities to be “Rectified”: The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, subsect of the CCP, examined the attitudes of students towards political ideology at thirty-one universities across China. Finding a lack of enthusiasm for the required courses of Marxism and “Xi Jinping Thought”, the CCP will take steps to “rectify” the situation. Read Here

“Under Communist Dictator Xi Jinping, China is taking a hard left turn.  The new emphasis on Communist doctrine in higher education means the dumbing down of China over time,” says Steven Mosher, PRI President.  “The last time a rigid ideology was in charge of China, millions of people died.  I am afraid that Xi is signing death warrants for millions more by launching what is, in effect, a new Cultural Revolution.”

Tribunal Wraps Up: The Uyghur Tribunal held in London has officially finished gathering evidence through hearings and testimonies. The nine-member tribunal heard from almost forty witnesses and experts. Their verdict is expected by the end of the year. Read Here

Destruction of Ethics: The CCP has been a destruction force with its “operations to supply harvested organs to the transplant market.” The regime aims to dominate this field, in order to make forced organ harvest a world-wide accepted process. Read Here

“The harvesting and resale of organs from prisoners is big business in China,” says PRI President Mosher.  “The corrupt regime makes an estimated 10 billion a year by executing prisoners for their organs, and then transplanting the harvested hearts, livers, and kidneys into wealthy Chinese and foreigners.  Israel has banned its citizens from traveling to China for transplants.  The U.S. should do the same.”

UN Misdeeds

Another Abortion Act: The Center for Family and Human Rights analyzed the “Keep Girls in School Act,” as it is being considered for codification. The act, a global strategy developed under the Obama administration, is explicitly pro-abortion and would make U.S. policy “indistinguisable” from UN policy. Read Here

Science Gone Mad

We Are Human, not God: Reproductive technology has continued to improve, with geneticists now able to screen for predictions of traits including intelligence. Dancing dangerously close to eugenics, this practice would allow for couples involved in IVF to screen for the embryo with the highest potential IQ. Read Here

Pro-Life Around the World

Pope Francis vs. Politicians: Pope Francis took a stance on the Communion debate while on his first international trip post-operation. He stood strongly on the fact that abortion is murder, while calling for priests to act in a pastoral, rather than political, way. Read Here

Pro-Life Options Censored: After running Pro-Life group Live Action’s ads on abortion pill reversal for several months, Google abruptly took them down with no explanation. However these ads may be “disapproved” based on a misinformed report that labels the life-saving drug as “dangerous.” Read Here

“Google is in the business of censoring views that it does not agree with,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “This is especially true on the pro-life front.  Many women regret taking the abortion pill, and need to know that it can be safely reversed in many cases.  The censors at Google don’t want women to know this.  This kind of censorship is one more reason to break up Big Tech.”

Papal Inspiration for Hungary: Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced that he received strong encouragement from Pope Francis for the Pro-Family policy that has been instituted in Hungary. According to the Orban, “The Holy Father made it clear that the fight we are waging to protect families is the most important struggle with regard to the future of Europe.” Read Here

Reducing Abortions in Russia: Russian authorities are making moves to increase psychological, social, and medical assistance to pregnant women. Their aim in these endeavours is to cut abortion numbers in half. Read Here

“On my visits to Russia, I have been impressed with the efforts of the Catholic and Russian Orthodox churches in that country to combat abortion,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “Crisis pregnancy centers have been set up throughout the country, and abortionists are no longer allowed to advertise their deadly business.  These new steps will further reduce the number of abortions in dying Russia, which desperately needs babies.”

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Divided Voters: According to a recent Rasmussen Report, a majority of American voters support the Texas Heartbeat Bill. This directly opposes the “facts” being spread by Planned Parenthood claiming that a majority of Americans support abortion and are “outraged” by this legislature. Read Here

Med Student for Life: Austin Clark, Pro-Life medical student at University of Louisville School of Medicine, has filed a lawsuit against the school administrators for discriminatory treatment. The university perpetrated several acts of discrimination after Clark began organizing Pro-Life events, all leading up to a dismissal from school with “no opportunity to appeal his case.” Read Here

Hysteria Over Texas Law: Companies worth billions were supposedly enraged over the infringement of womens’ rights after the Texas Heartbeat Act was passed. But these companies, such as the parent company of popular dating app “Tinder”, are claiming ideological high ground to cover up the reality that their businesses profit off of abortion-on-demand. Read Here

Good News

One-Hundred Loved Children: Over the course of forty-three years, Ron and Jane Brown fostered one-hundred children. They had four of their own children, but count their foster babies along with the countless birth and adoptive parents as part of their family as well. Read Here

Quote of the Week

“For those who marry and have families, children are the primary means God uses to help them grow in holiness and virtue.”
