Mosher to Appear on EWTN’s “The World Over with Raymond Arroyo” Tonight.

The news out of China is disturbing.

On Monday, China’s highest ranking Catholic prelate, Cardinal Joseph Zen, published an open letter to the media, accusing Vatican diplomats of “selling out” the Church by caving in to demands of the Communist leaders.

Cardinal Zen’s intervention was prompted by reports that a Vatican emissary had met with two Chinese bishops, Peter Zhuang Jianjian of Shantou and Joseph Guo Xijin late last year with an extraordinary request: that the two bishops hand over their dioceses to illegitimate bishops appointed by the Chinese Communist Party who had previously been excommunicated by Rome.

Mosher will be discussing the present state of the Catholic Church in China under the increasingly tyrannical rule of Communist leader Xi Jinping, and whether efforts by Vatican diplomats to have normalized relations with the Chinese Communist Party are prudent, or even possible at this moment in history.
