Demography is Destiny

Viva Italia: In this overview of Italy, the beauty of the magnificent country has been contrasted with the harsh reality of their economic and demographic situation. With sky-high debt and a birth rate well below replacement level, Italy’s future is dependent upon mass immigration. Read Here

Communist China

A Commitment to Defend: In a recent CNN town hall event, Biden confirmed that the United States will defend Taiwan if the latter is attacked by China. This is not included in the Taiwan Relations Act, which only stipulates that Washington provides the island with the means to defend itself. Read Here

“Joe Biden is a loose cannon,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “It is no wonder that his staff reportedly cringes in anticipation every time he speaks, because you literally never know what is going to come out of his mouth.  If we supply the armaments that Taiwan is requesting there will be no need to defend the democratic nation against China.  If Taiwan has a robust defense, China will not attack.  Peace through strength should be our goal.”

Campaign of Repression: In a recent report by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, the campaign of repression against the Uyghurs in Xinjiang was mapped out. It confirmed the Mao-esque brutality being carried out, as well as examined the indirect participation of democracies in the situation through consumption of products made through forced labor. Read Here

Kanter’s Freedom Shoes: NBA athlete, Enes Kanter, has boldly taken a stand against the CCP’s treatment of the Uyghur Muslims. He has also released shoes designed with the logo “Free China” and illustrations mocking the CCP leader, Xi Jinping. Read Here

UN Misdeeds

Funding Chinese Control: The annual foreign operating bill has been released by the Democrats. Within the document, funding for the UNFPA was doubled and restrictions were removed, allowing these funds to be used towards coercive population control in China. Read Here

“The democrat-controlled Senate doubles the funding for the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) to $55M and no longer requires it to report on its activities in China,” says PRI President Mosher.  “Both of these are very bad ideas.  The UNFPA promotes abortion, sterilization and contraception wherever it goes.  Not to mention that, while China now encourages ethnic Chinese to have more children, it is brutally repressing the birth rate among the Uyghur, Tibetans, and other minorities.  This is the CCP’s openly racist version of Margaret Sanger’s eugenics, ‘More from the fit, fewer from the unfit.’”

Science Gone Mad

Brain Dead or Not?: In this breakdown of brain death, Dr. Joseph Eble has examined the criteria for such a declaration, as well as individual cases that reveal the questionable nature of that conclusion. Read Here

NIH Caves to Criticism: The National Institute of Health edited a key portion of its website last week, regarding gain-of-function research. A detailed explanation of this type of research stating that it “modifies a biological agent so that it confers new or enhanced activity to that agent” has been removed. Read Here

Pro-Life Around the World

Taking Down Transgender Ideology: Vladimir Putin has taken a public stance against the growing popularity of teaching children transgender ideology. He referred to this as “simply monstrous”, as well as described this indoctrination as a “crime against humanity… under the guise of progress.” Read Here

“Telling a child that he or she may have been born into the wrong body is child abuse,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “The ability of the Godless Left to deny reality knows no bounds.  They should not be allowed to use our children as props for their sexual fantasies.”

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Keeping the Heartbeat Alive: Texas officials have requested that the Supreme Court allow the Heartbeat legislation to stand despite pressure from the Biden administration. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxon pointed out that the Justice Department could not claim damage from the law, and the Federal Government lacks standing in this pursuit. Read Here.

Prayer Vigil Protesters: A pro-life prayer vigil held at the University of North Texas was overtaken by antifa protesters. Hundreds of these protesters came with signs and megaphones to harass the vigil participants, yelling blasphemous and explicit phrases. Read Here

Coerced Unable to Conceive: A second Metropolitan Police Department officer has come forward with her pregnancy discrimination testimony. In 1997 Karen Arikpo was threatened with job loss if she did not have her child aborted, and as a result of the abortion was unable to have future children. Read Here

“Why am I not surprised that the most radical police force in the U.S.— the D.C. police — are forcing young women to have abortions on pain of being fired?” says Mr. Mosher. “There are forced abortions in the U.S. as well.”

Good News

No Unplanned Lives: Former NFL star Kenyon Coleman shared his deeply pro-life views in a recent LiveAction news interview. Citing his own experience with abortion, Coleman stated, “We’ve all fallen short in areas of our lives, but you can’t right a wrong with two wrongs, you know. To me, there might be unplanned pregnancies, but there are no unplanned lives.” Read Here

Quote of the Week

The first step to ending all forms of violence in society — whether related to crime, racism, or poverty — is ending the violence of abortion.”

~ Cardinal Timothy Dolan, source
