The plaintiff of the case claims that regular use of Depo-Provera, which contains a high dose of progestin, led to the development of a brain tumor. This case is part of a growing number of lawsuits against Pfizer, which is facing allegations that it knew or should have known about the risks of brain tumors, cancers, and bone loss associated with the drug, but did not adequately inform patients or doctors.
