A message from PRI president, Steven Mosher

Things like this don’t come our way very often, so I want to urgently share this news with you …

… You and I and our fellow PRI supporters have a God-given chance to hand a monumental defeat to Planned Parenthood, while saving hundreds and even thousands of babies in a fairly short amount of time.

May I have a minute of your time to tell you about it?

Easy pickings for Planned Parenthood can now come to an even faster end

For decades, Planned Parenthood and other abortionists went virtually unchallenged in dozens of African countries, killing vast numbers of unborn babies. “Bloodbath” is the word that comes to mind.

So PRI – thanks to the generosity of you and your fellow PRI supporters – cautiously began distributing ultrasound machines to African pro-life hospitals and clinics. Many of them had never before had an ultrasound machine. Almost immediately, those hospitals and clinics began saving babies like never before.

That’s because nothing turns pregnant women away from abortion faster than seeing their babies on ultrasound screens – babies kicking, waving their arms, even smiling. So, PRI – with your support – began placing more ultrasound scanners in African hospitals and clinics. The results have been beyond our wildest hopes …

Thanks to your support, PRI is saving an incredible number of babies in Africa and Latin America

We have so far placed ultrasound machines in the African countries of Kenya …
Nigeria … Ghana … Malawi … Republic of Congo … Uganda … Ivory Coast … and Eswatini.
And also, thanks to your help, we’ve placed another two ultrasound scanners in the
Latin American countries of Peru and Argentina.

With these machines, you and your fellow PRI supporters have saved hundreds of
babies – so far! And since each ultrasound machine can save dozens and even hundreds of
babies each year for many years to come, the number of babies saved is destined to go up,
way up! So take a bow – you deserve it!

And now let me tell you what just happened at one of the pro-life hospitals
pleading for our immediate ultrasound help …

Do you think this might have
been Divine Intervention?

A pro-life hospital in Africa – in the Republic of the Congo – is urgently asking PRI to replace its old, barely-working ultrasound scanner. The nuns who run the hospital shared this wonderful story with us …

… A mother of two recently found herself pregnant. She is quite poor and was terrified at the thought of financially struggling to raise another child. So, she asked the hospital for an abortion, not realizing it’s a pro-life hospital that never aborts babies. But instead of just saying “no” to the woman’s request, the hospital’s nuns gently encouraged her to have an ultrasound scan. An ultrasound scan, the nuns explained, would allow the woman to at least learn the baby’s age and might help spot any health problems that exist.

So, the woman agreed to a ultrasound scan. Fortunately – and perhaps this was part of Divine Intervention – the hospital’s ancient and sometimes barely-working ultrasound scanner performed perfectly!

What the mother saw on the screen left her struggling for words. She saw that she was carrying not one but two babies – a boy and a girl! The little ones were moving their arms and legs, kicking and squirming.

Only seconds passed before the mother switched from asking for an abortion to asking the nuns to help her through her pregnancy and give birth to her twin babies!

Such is the power of an ultrasound scanner!

Was that Divine Intervention? A woman seeking an abortion … nuns convincing her to at least have an ultrasound scan … on an old scanner that might or might not work … the mother seeing her twin babies on the screen … and deciding right then and there to give birth to her little ones!

We like to think that was Divine Intervention, provided through a simple ultrasound. And it powerfully illustrates the urgent need to provide ultrasound scanners to pro-life hospitals in remote parts of Africa and Latin America.

But as I said, the ultrasound scanner at this African hospital is on its last legs. So that leads me to this …

What’s needed now from me, you and our fellow PRI supporters …

Right now, there are three African pro-life hospitals and clinics in immediate need of ultrasound scanners. One is in the Republic of Congo (the hospital I just told you about), and two are in Burkina Faso (a country in west Africa, next to Ghana).

Equipping these three pro-life hospital and clinics with ultrasound machines will cost $45,000. PRI will raise this money through gifts of $40 … $50 … $75 … $100 … $150 … and $250. Will you send a tax-deductible gift in one of those amounts?

Or is a larger tax-deductible amount possible – $500 … $1,000 … $1,500 … or even $2,500?

I ask that you please remember this about your sacrifice: Gifts in ALL amounts are essential. There is no such thing as “a sacrifice that’s too small to matter.” Plus, your support now will help make sure that we don’t have to divert funds from other critical projects to provide baby-saving ultrasound scanners to these African pro-life hospitals and clinics.

Can we count on your support now?

Abortionists have an open running field in these African countries. This is a proven way to help end it.

As I said, reports from prolife clinics and hospitals where PRI has placed ultrasound machines tell us that thousands of babies have been saved, thanks to ultrasounds. And this number is going up each week.

That’s the kind of news that absolutely has abortionists panicking! So, let’s add to their panic. Let’s save even more babies by placing ultrasound scanners in these three African pro-life hospitals and clinics.

Will you help, as generously as you have in the past, please?

Yours in defense of life, Faith & family,

Steven W. Mosher,
President Population Research Institute

P. S. I went out on a limb – I told the three African pro-life clinics and hospitals that PRI will move heaven and earth to have ultrasound scanners on the way to them before Christmas.

It’s proven that ultrasound scans save babies lives, as the story above shows. So, it’s my hope and prayer that you will help us quickly have the ultrasound machines on the way to these baby-saving African hospitals now, well before Christmas. Will you help?
