Help Us Defeat Abortion in New York
New York Proposal 1, the “Equal Protection of Law Amendment,” would prohibit so-called discrimination on the basis of “sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes and reproductive healthcare and autonomy.” The vague wording of the amendment and inclusion of “reproductive healthcare and autonomy” could allow the codificaton of late-term abortions into the New York state constitution. It would also further enshrine the so-called “right” to abortion in New York legislation and limit the ability of judges to rule in favor of life.
