In This Issue: A new Danish study has found that having an abortion is linked to negative mental health outcomes, challenging a previous study that claimed no increased risk of mental disorders occur after a first-trimester abortion. This research, led by David Reardon from the Elliot Institute, reanalyzed data from a 2011 study over a longer timeframe and revealed that women were 50 percent more likely to seek psychiatric treatment and 87 percent more likely to experience personality and behavioral disorders one year post-abortion.
