Remember to Vote!

The midterms will be upon us in less than a week!

“Remember to vote Pro-life,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “The lives of the Unborn depend on it.”

PRI in the Media

The Church’s Slow Death: To the bewilderment of PRI President Steven Mosher, the Vatican renewed the Sino-Vatican agreement. While Pope Francis’ goals for the agreement were laudable at the start, Mosher shares this agreement seems to be, “used by the CCP to accomplish the slow decapitation of the Catholic Church in China.”

Soviet-Style Media: A U.S. Senate report has further confirmed the lab origins of COVID-19, which is a truth PRI President Steven Mosher was censored for in 2020. But instead of holding those who shut down this truth early in the pandemic accountable, a new movement has emerged to forgive and forget the significant mistakes surrounding the pandemic.

Deepening Depopulation

A Modest Baby Boom: While previous fertility data had suggested that the U.S. birthrate flatlined in 2020, the Institute of Family Studies reports that there may have been a small baby boom after all. In data restricted to native-born women, a baby boom was found among those that benefited from the flexible, work-from-home schedules of the pandemic.

Communist China

Calling to Confirm: Chinese newlyweds are receiving calls from the CCP, where the officials check in on their pregnancy status. Part of a “secret campaign” to increase the birthrate (to ultimately ensure a future workforce), government workers are urging the couples to get pregnant as soon as possible.

PRI President Steven Mosher says, “And so it begins. Desperate for more babies, the CCP is step-by-step moving to a policy of forced pregnancy. Coming soon: ‘Not pregnant again this month, comrade? If you are not pregnant by the end of the year you will have to come in and let us inseminate you.'”

The Lying Flat Movement: Since last year, generations of young Chinese born in the 1990s and 2000s have decided to “not strive for their futures.” Known as the tang ping (or lying flat) movement, this shift among the younger demographic is a result of economic and demographic pressures. Ironically, the movement will continue to contribute to the same issues that caused it.

Xi’s Ominous Visit: Xi Jinping began his unprecedented third term on a dangerous note with a visit to Yan’an. Declared a “holy site” for the CCP by Xi, it is the location of the Yan’an Rectification Campaign. A bloody purge of “weak” CCP members was undertaken by Mao Zedong where 30,000 were purged and 10,000 executed between 1942 and 1944.

PRI President Steven Mosher says, “Xi and his six sycophants visit Yan’an, where the CCP under Mao conducted its first major campaign to brainwash its followers, and where it set up its first concentration camps, complete with torture chambers, and executed thousands. Bad times are coming for the Chinese people. And for the world.”

UN Misdeeds

Denounced for Abuse: Despite the failure of last month’s proposal to debate the abuse of the Uyghurs in Xinjiang, Fifty nations at the UN General Assembly, including the U.S., denounced China’s abuses this past week. Human rights groups applauded this measure, while China and its 66 ally countries still stand firm that this is a “double standard and interference in China’s internal affairs.”

Science Gone Mad

NHS Slams the Brakes: Following its admittance that gender dysphoria is transient in minors, the NHS is now restricting the use of hormone therapies and surgeries to treat “transgender” children. The latest treatment policy shifts away from “gender-affirming” care, investing in a model that focuses on child psychology and development.

“The British have rediscovered their common sense,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “Just because somebody pretending to be the opposite sex on TikTok convinces an impressionable boy or girl that he or she was born into the wrong body, Britain’s National Health Service is not going go along with their gender dysphoria.  The NHS will no longer automatically flood their bodies with opposite sex hormones, or schedule irreversible surgery that will not only permanently mutilate their bodies but will also, in all likelihood, destroy their fertility.  All too often, the result of these reckless interventions has been suicide.”

Medication Abortion Myths: Demand for the abortion pill is rising as pro-abortion organizations push false information about the safety of Mifepristone and Misoprostol. Now Mercatornet has exposed three of the most popular myths out there about medication abortions.

Pro-Life Around the World

Euthanasia in France: This past September the National Consultative Ethics Committee of France released a statement in favor of assisted suicide. Now President Emmanuel Macron has taken action. Macron announced a consultation on the issue starting this December, with a potential for a new legal framework allowing the heinous practice by the end of 2023.

Exposing Coerced Abortions: The European Court of Human Rights ruled that a woman’s rights were violated when her parents forced her to get an abortion at the age of 20. This case, S.F.K. v Russia, illuminated the unfortunate fact that a majority of abortions are coerced and are now officially recognized as a violation of human rights.

Pro-Life on the Home Front

The Overturn’s Effect: Since the Dobbs decision this past June, over 10,000 abortions were prevented, with an overall 6% decrease in abortions in July and August. The leftist organization WeCount released these figures in their most recent report on the shifting landscape of abortion access in the U.S.

FDA Speaks Up: Demand for abortion pills is rising, but the FDA is going against the tide and condemning the overprescription of these drugs. The organization is concerned about the dangers of advanced provision, and how many abortions will go unsupervised with no medical provider aware of when the abortion is taking place.

Radicals Want Global Abortion: In response to the overturn of Roe v. Wade, seventy-one of mostly leftwing members of the Democratic caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives are calling for abortion to be officially recognized as a global right. Spearheaded by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow radical members of the House, a letter was sent to the State Department’s legal advisor to spark change in this area.

Cases Still Unsolved: Since the Supreme Court leak, seventy-five political organizations and pregnancy centers have been targeted by vandals and arsonists. Five of these attacks, involving arson, are still unsolved. While some of the affected organizations express satisfaction with the treatment of their cases, others worry that “the delays reflect the political bias of the pro-abortion Biden administration and its influence on federal agencies.”

Good News

A NICU Halloween: This past Monday, hospitals around the U.S. dressed NICU babies up for Halloween. With titles like “too cute to spook” and “all treats and no tricks” hospital staff brought joy to the families and communities of these littlest patients, despite the difficult medical circumstances of each.

Quote of the Week

“Families are places of welcome, and woe if they were to disappear! Society would become cold and unbearable without welcoming families.”
