PRI in the Media

Pondering the Plandemic: The story of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, as the puzzle pieces of the last couple of years come together. PRI President Steven Mosher joined Michael Voris for an exclusive interview on Church Militant to discuss his book on the topic, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Pandemics

To get a copy for yourself, check it out here.

Fauci’s School Closures: The recent data on the connection between COVID school closures and fallen student performance has Dr. Anthony Fauci on the defensive. Fauci claims he never advised schools to close, further saying that he pushed for schools to stay open as long as possible. But PRI President Steven Mosher disproves this “whopper” of a lie easily.

The Sino-Vatican Mistake: As shared here last week from LifeSiteNews, Church Militant reported on the two-year extension of the Sino-Vatican Agreement. The site shared the following from PRI President Steven Mosher on the topic:

“I can only imagine that those in the Vatican are totally unaware that the Chinese Communist Party is tearing down crosses, destroying churches, rewriting the Bible and drafting sermons that pastors and priests in the state-controlled churches are supported to give. Otherwise, why would they extend an agreement with the Chinese Communist Party that has not only failed to protect Catholics from the slow destruction of their faith, but has actually been used as an excuse for this work of demolition?”

Deepening Depopulation

An Upcoming Arrival: “We at PRI are getting ready to welcome Baby 8 Billion around the middle of November,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “You will know this day is approaching because the leftist media will be flooded with stories about how we are running out of food, water, and every other resource imaginable, all supposedly because too many babies are being born.

Those who are blaming it on overpopulation, of course, are the same ones who are getting us involved in endless wars, fomenting civil unrest, and promoting state control of the economy.  They create social, environmental, and political crises, real and imaginary, and then blame these on too many people.”

Communist China

Predecessor Pulled Away: Former Chinese president, Hu Jintao, was forcibly removed from the closing ceremony of the 20th Party Congress. According to the Daily Wire, Xi’s approach to this congress appeared, “set to affirm him as its leader for life.” The removal of his predecessor would be in-line with this mentality.

PRI President Steven Mosher comments, “‘Dragged’ out of the meeting would be a better description of what happened to former leader Hu Jintao. With Hu’s removal from the stage, and the stacking of the Central Committee with his own lackeys, the bullying, blustering Xi Jinping has complete control. War is inevitable.”

A Questionable Catholic: John Lee Ka-chiu, Hong Kong’s Catholic chief executive, gave his first policy speech last week. Lee announced a coming crackdown on civil liberties and press freedom, as well as specifically targeting fundraisers by and for political demonstrators. The latter is precisely why Cardinal Zen, emeritus bishop of Hong Kong, is currently (and unfairly) on trial.

UN Misdeeds

Relief Held Hostage: The UN Committee on World Food Security is currently unable to pass global guidelines on food security because of a dispute over ideology. The U.S. and E.U. will only accept the guidelines if they include terms such as, “multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination”, “women in all their diversity,” and “sexual and reproductive health and rights.” Conservative countries rightly balk at these phrases which have been defined by other UN programs as, “requiring programming that promotes and accepts homosexuality and transgenderism.”

Science Gone Mad

Studying the Dangers: The Biden administration is quietly funding studies on the dangers of transgender treatments, including puberty blockers and hormone therapies. A few of the studies in this $17 million endeavor have come back with worrying or unclear results. Despite this, the Biden administration continues to promote these transgender treatments for children.

ART & Human Rights: Artificial Reproductive Technologies (ART) and human rights are often opposed, as babies are sought for selfish reasons and their future well-being is ignored. This is apparent in Live Action’s article about a gay couple, Maggipinto and Briskin. The two are suing the city of New York to achieve insurance coverage for surrogacy and the purchase of a woman’s eggs, arguing that they should be considered “infertile” due to their male, homosexual relationship.

A Trans-ient Phase: The U.K.’s National Health Service has finally recognized that most minors that “identify” as transgender are going through a passing phase. The NHS is following the research on this, as well as on the fact that most “gender-affirming” treatments are severely under-researched. Both of these are big contributors to the NHS’s plan to restrict transgender treatments for minors.

Infanticide Disguised: The Quebec College of Physicians in Canada shared support for the euthanasia of disabled minors between 14 and 17, as well as for disabled infants. This blatant acceptance of killing children during the tumultuous pubescent years, along with infanticide, is rightly receiving backlash from both the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition and Inclusion Canada.

Pro-Life Around the World

Pro-Abortion PAL Member: Earlier this month, a member of the Pontifical Academy for Life attacked the Dobbs Decision during a panel at Loyola Marymount University. Roberto Dell’Oro also defended legal abortion up until at least 15 weeks, claiming, “Until that moment, the freedom, autonomy and dignity of women call for a legal right to abortion.”

Abortion Pill Course: In collaboration with HowToUseAbortionPill.org, the International Planned Parenthood Federation launched an online course on home abortions. The course promotes the abortion pill, even in countries where it is illegal, by advising the careful disposal of “anything recognizable.”

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Bishop Implores Biden: In response to President Biden’s commitment to codifying Roe v. Wade, Archbishop William E. Lori of Baltimore released the following:

“The President is gravely wrong to continue to seek every possible avenue to facilitate abortion, instead of using his power to increase support and care to mothers in challenging situations. This single-minded extremism must end, and we implore President Biden to recognize the humanity in preborn children and the genuine life-giving care needed by women in this country. As pastors who deal daily with the tragic impacts of abortion, we know that abortion is a violent act which ends the life of preborn children and wounds untold numbers of women. The Catholic Church wishes to continue in our work with our government and leaders to protect the right to life of every human being and to ensure that pregnant and parenting mothers are fully supported in the care of their children before and after birth.”

Walker Set to Win: Despite the abortion allegations slung at Herschel Walker, the Republican Senatorial candidate in Georgia, he still has the support of a majority of Catholic voters, according to a new EWTN poll. If the election were held today, his opponent, the “pro-choice pastor” Raphael Warnock, would win about 1/3 of the Catholic votes in Georgia.

Another Attack: Elderly pro-life man and long-time sidewalk counselor, Ross Foti, was attacked outside of a Planned Parenthood after a woman became enraged at him for parking in front of the building. The eighty-eight-year-old was rammed by the woman, pushed onto a fire hydrant, and hit the ground. He spent four days in the hospital and is currently recovering at home from a punctured lung and various other injuries.

Good News

Life Begets Life: Pro-Life work is the most important work on earth, and one woman, in particular, shared how this work breathed new life into her retirement. Self-described “ordinary grandma,” Shelley Evans, spends her free time trying to save lives and knows for a fact that she has saved at least one, if not many, many more.

Quote of the Week

“A child is not an object to be thrown away, and neither is a mother’s heart. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the answer to a woman in a crisis pregnancy is not violence but love. This is America. We can do better.”
