PRI in the Media

Chasing COVID: PRI President Steven Mosher appeared on the John-Henry Westen Show to discuss his newest book, The Politically Incorrect Guide® to Pandemics. Though the book covers pandemics through the ages, it vividly illustrates how China recently tricked the U.S. and other nations into wrecking their economies and chasing the impossible goal of “zero COVID.”

Dangers of TikTok: TikTok is one of the most popular apps in America, but it is also one of the most dangerous. Brian Kilmeade called PRI President Steven Mosher onto his show, One Nation, to discuss the clear and present danger of data harvesting perpetrated by the CCP daily. While this infiltration occurs at the level of the individual, the CCP is also attempting to embed spies at the federal level to influence U.S. monetary policy.

Post-Roe Possibilities: In our post-Roe world, Father Tadeusz Pacholczyk, Ph.D., aims to rouse complacent pro-lifers to fight for the change that is now possible in every state. He cited the following recommendations from PRI President Steven Mosher:

“In states that do not yet ban abortion, we must work with pro-life state legislators to protect all human lives. Where a complete ban is not possible, we must advocate for Heartbeat legislation, that will prevent all abortions after six weeks, understanding that this is only a way station on the way to a complete ban… At the local level, talk to your city councilman or county supervisor about making the place where you live a sanctuary for the unborn. Outlawing abortion within city or county limits is possible even in hostile states like New York or California if you happen to live in the more socially conservative parts of these states. Even closer to home, support your local crisis pregnancy centers, whose services will now be more in demand than ever before from young women who have nowhere else to turn… Volunteer if you can, donate if you can’t.”

Pandemic Power Play: In his latest publication in Wanderer Press, Dr. Christopher Manion warns of a “Pandemic Treaty” that is in the works and would give the World Health Organization “unprecedented worldwide power.” Already concerning, given the WHO’s nature as an unelected organization, the threat only grows with the knowledge that the WHO’s Director General is a known CCP lackey and that Joe Biden is kowtowing to the WHO to push this treaty through by 2024.

China-U.S. Tensions: PRI President Steven Mosher appeared on Fox Business to discuss China’s changing attitude towards the United States. Since the election of Joe Biden, the CCP has grown more aggressive and disrespectful of U.S. leaders and government. Gone are the days of respect among nations, as the Biden administration projects weakness and division.

Deepening Depopulation

Fertility Fears: The Daily Wire is calling attention to an issue PRI has shared for years: falling fertility is the greatest hurdle our country is facing, not overpopulation. Decades of Malthusian fearmongering, followed by climate change propaganda, have created the perfect storm for low birth rates around the world. While there is still hope for our country, in the hands of the one-third of Americans that still desire three or more children, it will not be an easy problem to fix.

“More and more people are waking up to the fact of falling fertility that we at PRI have been warning about for decades,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “This article makes the same points that I was making in my 2008 book, “Population Control: Real Costs, Illusory Benefits,” or in my articles in the Wall Street Journal in the late nineties, namely, that our long-term problem is not too many people, but too few people.”

A Population Control Bill: In response to the UN’s concern over India surpassing China as Asia’s most populous country, an MP introduced the Population Control Bill to the lower house in New Delhi. If passed, this bill would cut off couples with more than two children from government benefits, as well as make them ineligible for government jobs. While the bill faces an uphill battle, it represents a toxic attitude held by many in the Indian government.

Communist China

Sacraments Withheld: The Diocese of Baoding is under unprecedented pressure from the CCP to assimilate Catholics into the Patriotic Association. Bishop Francis An Shuxin published a pastoral guideline, based on the Sino-Vatican Agreement of 2018, urging this shift. Under considerable pressure himself, Bishop Francis stated that those who do not accept this situation would be denied sacraments and could face punishment from civil authorities.

“The bishop of Baodinga center of the Catholic faith in Chinawas imprisoned for ten years by the Chinese Communist Party and is now quite elderly,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “The unsigned 2019 ‘Pastoral Guidelines’ are being used by the Chinese Communists to force Catholics to register with the government. The document itself demands respect for all those who conscientiously refuse to be registered this way, and asks that “that no intimidatory pressures be applied to the ‘non-official’ Catholic communities.”  But, as usual, Communist Party cadres are using all kinds of tactics, up to and including arrest and torture, to force everyone to register.  And the Vatican is silent.”

Dramatic Drop in Births: Twenty-nine provinces in China released their birth population data for 2021, further revealing the downward demographic trajectory of the country as a whole. Thanks to the one-child policy and COVID-19 measures, many of these provinces cut their number of births in half, in comparison to data from 2017.

UN Misdeeds

Ideology Pushed Hard: At the latest United Nations Forum on Sustainable Development, Western delegates pushed the homosexual and transgender agenda under the guise of “gender equality.” Spearheaded by the “UN LGBT Czar” Victor Madrigal-Borloz, delegates called for domestic and international gender policies that assist “women in all their diversity” (which to the rest of the world translates to biological males).

Pro-Life Around the World

Banning Religious Objection: Political figures in Australia are going after conscientious objection. The Health Legislation Amendment, pushed by MP Fiona Patten, would require religious-affiliated public hospitals in Victoria to perform abortions and assisted suicides.

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Value Them Both Fails: In an unfortunate turn of events, the Value Them Both amendment did not succeed in the Kansas primaries. The final count showed that 41% of votes were for the amendment, while a majority of 59% were against it. As a result, the right to abortion will remain in the state’s constitution

Unborn Dependents: Georgia officials announced that unborn babies can now be claimed as dependents on tax forms. This is another step in the right direction, acknowledging that the unborn are human beings with rights, while also providing benefits to the expectant parents.

“Since unborn babies are people, too, it only makes sense that you should be able to claim them as dependents on your taxes,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “It is a small, but necessary, inducement for people to cherish the tiny life within.”

Abortion Ban Reinstated: Last week, Louisiana’s abortion ban was finally reinstated. Since the overturn of Roe v. Wade, the last three abortion clinics continued to operate through loopholes and restraining orders. Now they are required to redirect women to better resources in the state or provide non-abortive measures themselves.

“Finally, the common sense of the American people trumps the blood money of the abortionists, at least in the state of Louisiana,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “Abortion clinics are closing their doors in Red States across the country. Lives are being saved every day.”

Good News

Celebrating Pregnancy Centers: Senator Mike Lee of Utah introduced a resolution that would dedicate a week in November to the honorable work of pregnancy centers. This resolution came only a few weeks after the introduction of the Pregnancy Resource Center Defense Act. Since the end of Roe, these centers are gaining more recognition and respect for their lifesaving work.

Quote of the Week

“The years of dedicated work that have gone into educating people about the harsh realities surrounding abortion, setting up crisis pregnancy centers, drafting pro-life legislation and electing pro-life candidates has created critical momentum for definitively enacting pro-life laws and securing the human rights of unborn children around the country, state-by-state, instead of having such initiatives almost continually enjoined by courts. We should all have a renewed sense of hope and determination as a great nation once again comes to its senses in the face of abortion’s longstanding injustice and violence.”
