Breaking News

A Response to Jane’s Revenge by PRI President Steven Mosher:

Jane’s Revenge, the violent pro-abortion group which has attacked a number of pro-life organizations and crisis pregnancy centers around the country, says that it is “open season on pro-life groups.” “We promised to take increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures,” the group wrote on its blog. “Rest assured that we will, and those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti. …But until you [close your doors], it’s open season, and we know where your operations are.”

The FBI is supposedly investigating the attacks and says that individuals with information about potential threats should submit tips to the bureau. But so far no arrests have been made.  “If the FBI devoted a fraction of the resources it has used to target parents who complain about CRT and transgenderism being taught in the schools” says Mr. Mosher, “we would already know who is behind this incitement to violence.  But the Biden administration–the most pro-abortion in American history–has other priorities.”

COVID Controversy

Counts Down after Vaccine: A newly released study indicates that the Pfizer COVID vaccine has a negative impact on men’s fertility. The peer-reviewed study found that sperm concentration decreased post-vaccination, with follow-up samples showing slight improvement but not a return to pre-vaccination levels.

“The effect of the mRNA vaccines on human fertility is as yet unknown, but the data coming in are very troubling,” says PRI President Mosher. “There have been anecdotal reports of high rates of miscarriages and stillbirths among vaccinated women. Now we have a peer-reviewed study that shows a dramatic decrease in male fertility, after taking the Pfizer vaccine. Is this effect permanent or temporary? It’s too early to tell. But the negative fertility effects alone should be enough, in my opinion, to take these risky vaccines off the market.”

Deepening Depopulation

A Case for Grandchildren: A set of Indian parents are suing their adult son and daughter-in-law for not producing grandchildren. This bizarre trial is a small-scale result of young Indian couples choosing to delay reproduction or forego it altogether. Overall, this trend has created a dwindling birthrate which fell below replacement in 2021.

Communist China

Deaths During Lockdown: The CCP adopted a harmful zero-covid policy under the guise of protecting their people and saving lives. But one citizen sounded the alarm on the deaths that the lockdown policy caused. Despite its best efforts, the CCP was unable to completely erase this truth before it began spreading.

Rise in Asylum Seekers: In the ten years since Xi Jinping took office, the number of Chinese citizens seeking asylum has skyrocketed from 12,000 in 2012 to 120,000 in 2021. Chinese nationals are desperate to escape to the United States, Australia, and several other democratic destinations.

UN Misdeeds

On the Cliff’s Edge: After decades of spouting predictions of inevitable global overpopulation, UN demographic experts admitted the current downward spiral of global fertility. The numbers, made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic, have these demographers considering the necessity of recalculating future population predictions.

“The UN demographers continue to mislead the global public about falling fertility rates,” says PRI President Mosher. “Fertility rates worldwide have been in secular decline since the 1950s and show no sign of slowing down. It is long past time to put pro-natal policies in place, especially in developed countries like the United States. Otherwise, we will literally have no future.”

Science Gone Mad

Another Round of Fertility Fraud: Another case of decades-old medical malpractice in the field of fertility treatments has emerged with assistance from AncestryDNA and 23andMe. The rise of these cases highlights the lack of regulation in reproductive medicine that continues to this day.

Pro-Life Around the World

Focusing on Familial Love: The World Meeting of Families began this week in Rome and will continue through Sunday. This year, the events are focusing on the family as a vocational path to holiness, featuring married couples and priests as the key speakers.

Pro-life Law Under Pressure: Malta’s solid, pro-life stance is under pressure from abortion activists. A legal protest was filed last week demanding the legalization of abortion. If unsuccessful in this endeavor, these pro-death individuals have stated an intention to take the matter to the European Court of Human Rights.

Kill Pill Coming Soon: Recent reports indicate that Japan will approve the use of chemical abortion in the country by the end of the year. The procedure may require spousal consent, a stipulation that sparked the anger of pro-abortion activists.

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Bishops vs. Legislators: California legislators are trying to enshrine abortion in the state constitution, before the fall of Roe v. Wade. But the Catholic bishops of California are standing up against the extreme abortion policy. At the California Catholic Conference, the bishops announced their intention to be “actively engaged in opposing the upcoming ballot initiative and asking the state’s 12 million Catholics to work to raise awareness and vigorous opposition in our dioceses, parishes and communities.”

Abortion and Faith: Kamala Harris has started to make unqualified claims about the nature of abortion. The VP claimed that abortion and faith are not at odds, with the former not requiring someone to change or leave their faith.

Good News

Heart Beats for Baby: An unconscious mother in critical condition had her vital signs improve after her newborn was placed in her arms. After an emergency c-section, Veronica William’s premature baby was placed in her arms for a minute, before she was wheeled into cardiac surgery. Both mother and baby are healthy today.

Quote of the Week

“The couple that loves and begets life is a true, living icon — not an idol like those of stone or gold prohibited by the Decalogue — capable of revealing God the Creator and Saviour.”

~ Pope Francis, Amoris Laetitia
