PRI in the Media

War Plans Exposed: For the first time in CCP history, audio was leaked from a high-security meeting. The CCP is transitioning from a peaceful time to wartime, with plans to invade Taiwan and beyond. PRI President Steven Mosher and Dr. Li-Meng Yan spoke on America Out Loud to discuss these dangerous findings.

Plan of Attack: While the United States media is distracted by a host of unfortunate developments on our shores and beyond, the CCP is quickly and discreetly preparing for wartime. PRI President Steven Mosher joined Patrick Coffin to discuss what this tells us and how it will affect the world.

End This War: A series of unfortunate decisions by President Biden encouraged the conflict in Ukraine and could easily spark a larger conflict with Russia. A majority of Americans fear this future, where the Ukraine War spirals out of control. PRI President Steven Mosher calls upon President Biden to end this war and turn to the real threats in our world today.

Abortion in the States: For the first time in fifty years, pro-lifers have a real chance of seeing Roe v. Wade overturned. The Supreme Court has the historic opportunity to overturn the decision of death made in 1973. Dr. Christopher Manion points out the three areas that need our focus more than ever in this time: pro-life politicians, institutions, and Canon 915.

Fame and Family: Stevie Nicks was the icon of a feminist generation, but there were tremendous sacrifices to get where she did. The rockstar sacrificed her children on the altar of her musical career, undergoing four abortions between 1979 and 1990. Dr. Christopher Manion discusses the clash of family and fame, and the continuous push for women to choose abortion for the sake of their creative careers.

Deepening Depopulation

Control Coming Soon: India is once again facing a potential future of population control. In an interview last Tuesday, Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel claimed that such laws were coming soon. Patel is one of several politicians who have pushed for or submitted private bills for population control in recent years.

Communist China

Holy Warriors: As the Catholic church continues to suffer in China, so do the faithful figures that stand for true Catholicism. Cardinal Zen and Jimmy Lai are two such men, who need our prayers and the Vatican’s intervention.

“Catholicism and Communism are like oil and water,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “They do not mix.  They are natural enemies.  The Chinese Communist Party understands this, that’s why they are trying to create a puppet church in China with the ultimate aim of eradicating religious belief entirely.  The Vatican, on the other hand, still seems to cherish the illusion that some new form of Ostpolitik, some compromise, can be reached with the CCP to allow Catholics in China to practice their religion in peace without state interference.  This ignores the fact that the CCP is a secular religion unto itself, and will not tolerate any other.”

The White Guards: During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CCP created a new band of thugs to do their bidding. These individuals covered head-to-toe in PPE gear were once average citizens and medical workers. Compelled to participate by the CCP or driven to join because of zero-COVID policy effects, these men and women have lost themselves in the CCP’s bidding.

“As the two-month-long Shanghai lockdown comes to an end, a new word has entered the Chinese lexicon,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “The White Guards, also known as the ‘Big Whites’ are the brutal hazmat-suit-garbed enforcers of the lockdowns. They are still active in dozens of Chinese cities as we speak, as China continues to pursue its failed Covid Zero policy.”

UN Misdeeds

Lawyers Left Behind: Hundreds of human rights lawyers in China have been jailed in the past decade, many during the 2015 crackdown. Yet UN High Commissioner Michelle Bachelet did not bother with visiting any of these individuals, though it was requested of her.

“The UN Commissioner for Human Rights is a well-known Leftist, whose recent visit to China did nothing to advance the cause of human rights,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “Countless political prisoners continue to languish in jail and apparently Ms. Bachelet made no effort to see any of them, but stuck closely to the guided tour that her Communist hosts had arranged for her. A missed opportunity.”

Pro-Life Around the World

Blessed Mother with Child: A new monument stands for life at the church of San Marcello al Corso. The monument is a depiction of Blessed Mary cradling her pregnant belly, in which the viewer can see the unborn baby Jesus. The artist, Timothy Schmalz, hopes to win over hearts and minds to the pro-life cause by portraying the beauty of the unborn.

“This beautiful statue of Mary cradling the unborn Jesus is intended to remind everyone that Life begins at conception,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “As the Supreme Court prepares to overturn Roe v. Wade, we hope that it inspires many to work for the abolition of abortion.”

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Republicans for Hyde: This past Tuesday, almost all fifty Senate Republicans took a stance in support of the Hyde Amendment. These men and women sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer stating that they will block any bills that undermine this pro-life amendment or any other pro-life protections.

Life at Conception: A great victory for the pro-life movement was won in Oklahoma this past week. Governor Kevin Stitt signed the Life at Conception Act, protecting babies from the moment they come into being. Alongside the Choosing Childbirth Program, Oklahoma has taken great strides in protecting and caring for life.

New WHO Guidelines: US Congressmen are standing up against the dangerous abortion guidelines that the World Health Organization put out in March. Blatantly caving to the abortion lobby, the WHO called on all countries to remove all legal and policy restrictions on abortion. This is a move that endangers women and is “trampling sovereignty and infringing on conscience rights.”

Law for Life: In 1931, Michigan established a pro-life law that prevents all abortion, except in cases of medical emergency. Since 1973 that law has been moot, but with an end to Roe v. Wade in sight, that very law is at the center of multiple lawsuits. Planned Parenthood and Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer are fighting to tear down the pro-life law, calling it unconstitutional, before Roe is overturned.

Good News

A Mid-Flight Arrival: A flight attendant unexpectedly served as a midwife during a flight from Denver to Orlando. The baby was premature and, when first delivered, was not breathing. Despite these hurdles, the attendant, Diana Giraldo, acted quickly and calmly, making a huge difference in the lives of this mother and child.

Quote of the Week

We should not be intimidated by these new religions of social justice and political identity. The Gospel remains the most powerful force for social change that the world has ever seen.”
