PRI Insider (Volume 2, Issue 12) March 25

In This Issue:

PRI in the Media

Hapless, Helpless, Hopeless: PRI President Steven Mosher appeared on The Laura Ingraham Podcast to discuss the Biden administration’s failed attempts to mitigate the relationship between Russia and China. Every effort has been too little and too late. The US can only look on as the ties between Russia and China become more intricate.

Pro-Life Punished: The origin of PRI President Stephen Mosher’s pro-life career and the founding of PRI was given a mention in the Post Register. He was presented alongside others who have exposed human rights abuses and been shunned for it.

Deepening Depopulation

National Suicide: South Korea has had four straight years of under a 1.0 fertility rate. Last year this rate hit record lows at 0.81. An apathetic attitude amongst South Korean citizens and failure of government incentives spell doom for the country’s demographic future.

COVID Controversy

EU Extends COVID Pass: The Council of the European Union extended the necessity of COVID passports until 2023. Fears that this will cause segregation and discrimination of the unvaccinated emerged in response.

PRI President Steven Mosher says, “As I and others have been saying for some time now, these ‘passports’ are internal control mechanisms that have little or nothing to do with public health, and everything to do with dividing the population between the sheep and the goats, with the goats fated for a bad end, perhaps in a quarantine camp somewhere.”

Communist China

Protection or Restriction?: Last week, the Cyberspace Administration of China released new regulations, supposedly to protect minors on the internet. But with the CCP there are always hidden motives behind even the most beneficial-looking plans. These regulations would further strip citizens of privacy and justify further intrusion into homes.

Farmer Found Dead: A Uyghur farmer, imprisoned for protecting his pregnant wife from abortion, died in prison while serving his eight-year sentence. The death occurred in 2020, but was only recently confirmed, adding to the growing evidence of Uyghur abuse.

UN Misdeeds

Promoting WHO Guidelines: The UN health agency is pushing the World Health Organization’s new guidelines on abortions. These guidelines promote the necessity of abortion around the world, describing the procedure as “simple and extremely safe.” It goes so far as to label DIY abortions as self-care, recommending an increase in telemedicine services for abortion.

Science Gone Mad

Genetics Gone Rogue: Both geneticists and bioethicists are taken aback by the explosion of genetic testing companies. These companies’ practices are not backed by scientific research. Despite this, without necessary regulations, they will steam full force ahead and follow the money.

Pro-Life Around the World

A Failed Experiment: The United Kingdom proved during the height of pandemic lockdowns that abortion-by-mail was detrimental to women’s health. Its failed experiment served as a warning to world policymakers. Yet, the Biden administration is ignoring this data, along with the growing data in the U.S., which proves the danger of at-home chemical abortions.

Abortionists Over Others: For the last four years, Ireland has allowed abortionists to be more highly compensated than those who deliver babies. Thanks to a deal between the government and the Irish Medical Organization, “it pays better for a doctor to kill a baby than to deliver a baby in Ireland.”

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Allowing Infanticide: A proposed bill in Maryland could allow the passive murder of newborns, neglecting them to death. Any deaths, from 22 weeks gestation to 28 days post-birth, caused by failure to act would not have grounds for investigation or penalization. This blatant acceptance of infanticide could become law in the state.

“Occasionally the abortion zealots reveal their ultimate goal.  The open promotion of infanticide tells you all you need to know about where they would like to go. They are in favor of Infanticide and Euthanasia and everything in between,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.

West Virginia for Life: Governor Jim Justice signed a new pro-life bill into law by passing the “Unborn Child with Down Syndrome Protection and Education Act.” This act prohibits women from choosing an abortion based on potential disability. This was a win for the pro-life group West Virginians for Life which lobbied for legislation that will save Down syndrome babies.

Good News

Two for One: This couple faced the hardest challenge of their lives when they found out they were expecting conjoined twins. Yet abortion never crossed their minds. Although the situation in the hospital and at home is far from easy, Stephanie and Dwight Castle still manage to count their blessings and see the good in their lives.

Quote of the Week

Feast of the Annunciation

“The recourse we have to Mary in prayer follows upon the office she continuously fills by the side of the throne of God as Mediatrix of Divine grace; being by worthiness and by merit most acceptably to him, and, therefore, surpassing in power all the angels and saints in Heaven.”

~Pope Leo XIII, Source
