PRI in the Media

Fact-checkers Under Fire

Facebook’s “fact-checkers” blocked a February 2020 article by PRI President Steven Mosher that argued that COVID-19 came from a Wuhan lab.  A new report from the Republican side of the House Intelligence Committee suggests that Mosher was right. His New York Post article, shared on February 22, 2020, was labeled “false information” and ultimately pulled from the website.

Now, there is “significant circumstantial evidence” that this theory was true all along, despite being dismissed as conspiracy for months. The Republicans of the House Intelligence Committee are calling for the federal government to go after a “full, credible investigation”. This is easier said than done, with the CCP continuing to “stonewall truly independent access to the Wuhan lab or its data”. Read Here.

On this topic, Mr. Mosher was given a brief shout-out on the Ben Shapiro Show as well.

Call for Vindication

Connected to the above article, Tucker Carlson of Fox News called for the vindication of Steven Mosher, as major media begins to accept the fact that COVID-19 was developed in the Wuhan Lab. Carlson commends Mr. Mosher for his bravery and honesty with these matters. Mr. Mosher appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight during February of 2020 to discuss the potential laboratory origin of COVID-19. Following the interview he was denounced as a “conspiracy nut”, censored, and ridiculed by other news agencies–all of which have now endorsed the “lab origin” themselves.

Fiction Becoming Reality

2034, a recently released book written by a retired Admiral was meant to be fiction. But it details a war with China that may be fast approaching. Bully of Asia, written by Steven Mosher, is referenced:, “The CCP feels it’s their time to displace the United States and become the world’s uncontested Hegemon”. The danger may be upon us sooner, much sooner, than the year 2034.

The United States is still in a positive position to avoid war with China, as the nation still dominates in “food, energy, and access to the capital market”. However it is up to the current presidential administration to keep the country in a strong, safe position. Read Here.

Demography is Destiny

Revitalizing Italy

Pope Francis opened the meeting on the “General States of Birth” in Italy, addressing the country’s demographic future in light of the low national birth rate. During 2020 Italy “reached the lowest number of births since national unity”. The pope has directed attention to Europe’s low birth rates before, stating in 2018 that it “is a sign of societies that struggle to face the challenges of the present, and thus become ever more fearful of the future, with the result that they close in on themselves.”

During this recent address, Pope Francis took a three part approach. After emphasizing that “new life should be accepted as a gift,” he called for generational sustainability and structural solidarity. In conclusion, he expressed gratitude for those addressing these issues and reaffirmed that there is no future without children. Read Here.

Hungary for more Hungarians

Thanks to Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the country of Hungary now has, “the most robust pro-family agenda on the planet”. In response to birth rates that have been below-replacement for decades, this stalwart PM and his administration are advocating “Hungary for Hungarians”. Their Family Protection Action Plan rolled out in 2019 with a multitude of incentives to encourage childbearing in couples and families. The most recent addition to the list of supports includes that, starting January 1st, 2022, there will be no income tax for individuals under 25.

Hungary aims to mitigate any disadvantages of bringing more children into the world.

It is too early to tell how much of a difference these measures are making, but a slew of statistics from the past decade suggests that the future looks brighter for Hungary. Read Here.

Communist China

Feminist Eugenics

China’s fractured feminist movement has become vocally supportive of “uterine morality”, a fancy name for what essentially boils down to eugenics. Chinese women are preaching on social media the necessity to “bear and rear better children”. They argue that rejecting “unacceptable” prospective fathers is a sign of true love for their children and descendants. “China’s radical feminists are simply parroting 40 years of eugenics propaganda,” says Mr. Mosher.  “From the beginning, China’s one-child policy has emphasized “quality” births.  At the same time, China’s doctors have been under orders not to let handicapped children live, and those with mental or physical handicaps who did survive were not allowed to have children.”

This issue may arise from the extreme gender imbalance in China, where men greatly outnumber women, itself a result of the one-child policy violently enforced for decades. Today, there are apparently “30 million more young men than young women in China”. This gap will only widen as birth rates fall, assisted by these modern movements lead by misguided feminists. Chinese Organ Coercion

A former organ donation coordinator from China revealed the details of coercing Chinese citizens to “donate” their relative’s organs. The CCP regularly commits heinous crimes in their quest for organs, murdering prisoners of conscience (especially Falun Gong practitioners). Coordinators target poor Chinese families, bullying them into allowing their loved ones’ organs to be harvested, and then selling these for a profit.

The circle of money and bribery in these endeavours is endless between surgeons, doctors, and officials. As long as there is money coming in, the CCP ignores all regulations set by the World Health Organization.

“The Chinese organ-transplant business is profit-driven,” says Mr. Mosher.  “And Communist Party officials, as well as medical personnel, make billions by harvesting body parts.  The prison population, especially the up to 3 million Uyghurs and Kazakhs imprisoned in China’s Far West, are a primary source, and are actually executed when there is a demand for their organs.” Read Here.

Science Gone Mad

Monetizing Fertility

The market for egg and sperm freezing services grows, generating profits for companies with names like  Kindbody, Extend Fertility, and Prelude Fertility. These businesses exploit womens’ fears of menopause–that by the time they are ready to have children they will no longer be able to–calling this “essential to the business model”. The notion of egg-freezing has been rebranded. It has been given a facelift, inventing necessity where there is none. No longer do these companies have to wait for people to face infertility, instead convincing women that they need to save their fertility before it’s anywhere near peril.

Underlying this business is the stark separation of sex and procreation. The purpose of sex becomes “for fun”, while combining previously-frozen eggs and sperm in a petri dish for uterine implantation becomes the proper or “serious” way of having a child. The United States currently has, “one of the lowest rates of I.V.F. utilization among the richest countries”. This figure could change as I.V.F. becomes necessary for the multitudes with frozen eggs and sperm. Read Here.

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Heartbeat Heard in Texas

Governor Greg Abbot has signed into law a bill that bans abortions after a fetal heartbeat has been detected. This new law will effectively prohibit killing babies in utero as early as six weeks. While other states have passed similar bills, this law has an extra layer of protection by turning the reins over to its citizens. It allows anyone who suspects that the law has been violated to sue the abortionist or his collaborators. It also prevents abortion providers from suing the state, since there is no state official technically enforcing the bill. This measure is ultimately to “incentivize abortion providers to comply with the law instead of fighting it in court”. The law will come into effect in September of this year. Read Here.

Quote of the Week:

“From Mary we learn to surrender to God’s Will in all things. From Mary we learn to trust even when all hope seems gone. From Mary we learn to love Christ, her Son and the Son of God!”
