Ohio Legislature Passes Heartbeat Bill



The Ohio state legislature has passed a bill that would ban all abortion after a baby’s heart is detected. State lawmakers in South Carolina and Kentucky have also announced plans to introduce similar bills in their respective states in January 2019.

Egyptian Government Pushes for Population Control

Kenyan Authorities Ban Marie Stopes from Offering Abortion Services



Kenyan authorities have ordered Marie Stopes Kenya to stop offering abortion services in the African country. An order issued by the Kenyan Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (MPDB) last Wednesday, November 14 bans Marie Stopes Kenya from performing abortion at any of its clinics.

States ‘Must’ Legalize Abortion, Says U.N. Human Rights Committee



The Human Rights Committee at the United Nations Office in Geneva has adopted a radically pro-abortion document that could have lasting implications for pro-life laws worldwide. The document, known as General Comment No. 36, is the first of its kind to declare that states “must” legalize abortion in cases of rape, incest, health of the mother, and when the pregnancy “is not viable.”

Appeals Court Upholds Law Regulating Abortion Clinics



A federal appeals court has upheld a Louisiana law requiring abortionists have admitting privileges at a local hospital.
