Demography is Destiny

Heart of the Nation: Hartville, Missouri has been announced as “the closest town to the center of the nation” based on the most recent once-in-a-decade census. There was only an 11.8 mile shift of this center between 2010 and 2020, which came from the growth of Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Read Here

Communist China

No Confidence in the CCP: Officials in China have been losing confidence in the prowess of the CCP. These so-called “naked officials” may be physically present, but are mentally, and in some cases, financially abroad. Read Here

“There are millions of Chinese, including Party officials, who would like to take their money and run,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “They know that a new Dark Age has descended upon China under the misrule of Communist dictator-for-life Xi Jinping.  They know that their life or property could be forfeit at any time.”

The New Mao: The CCP has solidified Xi Jinping as historically significant as Mao. Their “historical resolution” not only cemented his status, but declared his ideology to be the “essence of Chinese culture.” Read Here

“Dictator Xi Jinping has enshrined himself in the Communist pantheon, along with Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “He shares in common with Mao a bloodlust for power, and with Deng a steely belief in the primacy of the Communist Party. And, sadly for the Chinese people, he will probably be in power for the next twenty years.”

Dissident Shares Warning: Chinese dissenter, Ai Weiwei, has warned that political correctness in America has started to resemble the beginnings of Mao’s Cultural Revolution. He ominously stated, “In many ways, you’re already in the authoritarian state. You just don’t know it.” Read Here

“When those who have grown up in a Communist dictatorship begin warning us about the dictatorship of the woke in our own country, we need to sit up and take notice,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “Add to this the pandemic, which has endangered our constitutional liberties—including our freedom to practice our faith—to a degree never before seen in this country.  If we don’t stand up for our freedoms, we will lose them.”

Hypersonic Weapons Update: General John Hyten has revealed new details on China’s Hypersonic Missile Test, which came very close to hitting its intended practice target. The General stated that there should be a sense of urgency for the United States, akin to the urgency that followed Russia’s success with Sputnik in 1957. Read Here

“We tested hypersonic weapons in the sixties and seventies, but never built them until recently,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “China now has them as well, probably because—like everything else—they stole the technology from us. The FBI needs to stop targeting parents and patriots, and start defending us from real threats like Chinese espionage.”

UN Misdeeds

Calling for Radical Embrace: The United Nations independent expert on sexual orientation and gender identity, Victor Madrigal-Borloz, has called for the world to choose the “path of inclusivity”, which is also the path paved with gender theory. This was included in his most recent report to the U.N. General Assembly. Read Here

Science Gone Mad

OSHA Stands Down: The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has halted the implementation and enforcement of the COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard. Until “further court order”, this ETS will remain stalled. Read Here

“Many Americans have multiple concerns about the vaccines,” says PRI President Steven Mosher. “There are questions about its safety, its diminishing effectiveness and, for pro-lifers, the fact that it was derived from a cell line from an aborted baby.  So the news that OSHA is backing off from its legal Vax mandate in the wake of the decision by the Fifth Circuit is very good news.  If anyone’s employers suggest that there is still a vax mandate in place, they are lying.”

Euthanasia in Portugal: Portugal Parliament has been operating with a pro-death agenda. A bill has been approved that allows euthanasia and assisted suicide, even for inidivdual’s without a terminal illness. Read Here

“After two generations of below replacement birthrates, Western European countries are turning to euthanasia to empty out the old age homes,” says PRI President Steven Mosher.  “Euthanasia is abortion’s evil twin: One kills at the beginning of life, while the other kills at the end. Both are violations of God’s laws.”

The Contagion of Euthanasia: The effects of one individual’s decision to die through assisted suicide have begun to be examined, despite pro-euthanasia supporters’ attempts to dismiss it. Although touted as an “autonomous” decision, there is a possibility that the assisted suicide of one member in a family can cause other members to turn to suicide as well. Read Here

Pro-Life Around the World

Protecting Prayer: The Spanish Social Workers’ Party have put forth a bill that would criminalize peaceful protest outside abortion clinics. This witness has been labeled “harassment”, as well as a “threat to democracy.” Read Here

Pro-Abortion in Poland: Abortion activists have been taking advantage of a woman’s death to protest pro-life laws in Poland. These protesters have made the unsubstantial claim that these laws were a direct contributor to her death. This has been refuted by the director of Ordo Iuris, a Catholic legal organization, who maintains that the death and ruling are unconnected. Read Here

Pro-Life on the Home Front

Breakdown of the Family: The issue has come to light that the breakdown of families in Chicago, and throughout the U.S., has greatly contributed to crime. Although the Left denies it, children are less likely to be involved in crime when part of an unbroken family with a married mother and father. Read Here

Stealing from a Child: As World Children’s Day approaches, International Family News has reflected on a letter written by Katy Faust. Adopted and raised by a lesbian couple, she openly reflected on this experience. Her stated stance opposed the practice of gay marriage, as she witnessed the “wholeness and health” her own children receive by having both a mother and a father. Read Here

Men’s March for Life: A Pro-Life march drew approximately 200 Catholic men to Baltimore, Maryland to pray for the unborn. The march began in front of Planned Parenthood, but ended with prayer outside the venue of the U.S. Catholic bishops’ fall assembly. Read Here

Good News

Families Made Complete: Three siblings, previously separated in the foster care system, have been reunited in one family through adoption. In Texas, these children, along with 17 others, found forever homes in the first week of November (AKA National Adoption month). Read Here

Quote of the Week

“Euthanasia is abortion’s evil twin: One kills at the beginning of life, while the other kills at the end. Both are violations of God’s laws.”
