PRI Attacked by the Radical Southern Poverty Law Center

What could be as innocuous as a world gathering to promote family life and values? Is there anything less threatening than kids being raised by a loving mom and dad? Not according to the radical left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). No, for SPLC marriage and family values are hateful and homophobic. In a smear piece released prior to the World Congress of Families (WCF) in Salt Lake City, SPLC attempts to malign a whole …

Watchdog Group Condemns Swiss Population Control Initiative

The Population Research Institute condemns a proposed population control initiative in Switzerland which is being put to a vote on November 30, and if enacted, would restrict immigration into Switzerland and increase Swiss spending on population control abroad. Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law banning abortion advertising. It is hard to exaggerate the demographic straits that Mother Russia finds itself in. According to the projections of the UN Population Division–we are speaking here of the so-called “low variant,” historically the most accurate–the Russian population …

At the same time, birth rates have fallen to historically low levels. In fact, they have fallen to levels so low that they will extinguish whole populations unless something is done. …

Lies, Damned Lies, Statistics … and Population Graphs

“There are three kinds of lies,” Disraeli once famously remarked. “There are lies, damned lies and statistics.” But we now know, thanks to the United Nations Population Fund, that there is a fourth way to lie as well: the Population Graph.
