Judge Robert Bork in Lincoln Nebraska

The Honorable Robert H. Bork will be the keynote speaker at PRI’s major national conference in Lincoln Nebraska, taking place this October 24-26 at the Cornhusker Hotel.

Judge Bork, who was viciously and unfairly attacked during Senate hearings on his nomination to the Supreme Court, will give the keynote address at a dinner banquet of the Rebuilding a Culture of Life conference on Saturday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. His talk is titled The Scenic Route to Gomorrah. Judge Bork is the author of the best-selling book, Slouching Towards Gomorrah: Modern Liberalism and American Decline. He will introduce his latest book: Coercing Virtue: The Worldwide Rule of Judges (AEI Press, see: http://www.aei.org/publications/bookID.327/book_detail.asp), which criticizes the proposed international criminal court and the global attack against justice.

China and the U.N. support the international criminal court. The U.N also supports China’s forced abortion program. Will officials in China who force women to have abortions be subject to prosecution by the court? Not likely.

The Rebuilding a Culture of Life conference is sponsored by Population Research Institute (PRI), and the Bishops’ Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities (BPPPLA) from the diocese of Lincoln, Nebraska.

This important conference also features: Bowie Kuhn, the well-known former Commissioner of Baseball; Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz, bishop of Lincoln, Nebraska; The Honorable Mike Johanns, Governor of Nebraska; Mary Ellen Bork; David C. Reardon, Ph.D., director of the Elliot Institute; and William L. Toffler, M.D., a Professor of Medicine at the Oregon Health and Science University, and leading opponent of euthanasia.
